Melanie Murphy is a visual artist and illustrator with a passion for drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. She has taught art for over 15 years, sharing her love for creative expression with students of all ages. Melanie’s work is inspired by many things from the inside and outside world.

Her work is characterised by patterned, textured, and playful compositions, reflecting her intuitive and expressive approach. Melanie's love for illustration and design is central to her art, as she explores various mediums and techniques to convey her ideas.

She also enjoys creating jewellery as a sculptural medium, showcasing her versatility as an artist. Through her art and design, Melanie aims to capture the beauty of the world around her, combining her love for shape, texture, colour and nature.
